The Japan Tourism Agency is currently running the "Inbound Support Project for Transport Services".
If you are using XPAND Code to add multilingual support and expand the information available on signage at stations, bus stops, and similar locations, you may be eligible for a subsidy of up to one-third of the costs under this scheme.
The scheme will close once the budget allocation has been reached, so operators considering this are encouraged to act promptly.
