From 15:00 on 7th October, Saori Arai presented "Photography × Poetry × NFT: The World of Lyrical Photo."
Alongside her work as a talent, Arai creates and exhibits works using a technique she calls "Lyrical Photo," which combines photography with poetry. In August she held a solo exhibition at the Peacock Gallery in Kyobashi, Tokyo, to great acclaim.
She created new works especially for this event and unveiled them at the venue.
On stage, she spoke passionately about the creative process behind Lyrical Photo, her new works, and her challenge of linking artworks to NFTs for digital sales — a fresh new initiative.
After the stage session, Arai personally guided visitors around the exhibition works on display in the venue. She also demonstrated a new initiative: artworks marked with an XPAND Code that, when scanned with a smartphone, plays an audio recording of Arai reading her poems aloud.
