At 18:00 on 7th October, a talk was held on the Ginza Glass View Stage by Yasuo Mochida of UBOX LLC.
Mochida holds a remarkable range of titles: former Japan national representative in mixed doubles curling, former Executive Director of the Japan Wheelchair Curling Association, and Managing Director of curling team "Ignites Nagano," among others — a true curling expert.
Among curling fans, he is also well known as a commentator for curling matches streamed on YouTube.
On the day, Mochida was stationed in Hokkaido for a curling tournament, yet he found time in his busy schedule to appear on the Ginza Glass View Stage via Zoom.
After explaining the appeal of curling to those unfamiliar with the sport, he introduced new ways to enjoy it through the fusion of curling and technology.
