From 18:00 on 8th October, a talk session was held on the Ginza Glass View Stage featuring Kento Sakuma, Representative Director and President of L&K Medical Art Creators Co., Ltd., and Shomon Kimura, Representative Director of the Japan Medical Blockchain Association and a practising physician.
The session offered a clear, beginner-friendly explanation of how Web 3.0 and blockchain technology — including NFTs — can be applied to healthcare, and provided a glimpse into how medicine might be transformed as a result. The 30-minute session was accessible even to those new to the subject.
Speaker Sakuma also took the opportunity to promote his company's original character merchandise: the "Shinzousagi" (Heart Rabbit) T-shirt!
