About the Ginza NFT Gallery
The Ginza NFT Gallery is a weekly corner of “Ginza Exploration,” the mobile site updated every Wednesday. Each week, ten NFT artworks selected through an open call are introduced, along with the stories behind each piece and information about the artists.
The First Open Call: Summary and Results
The first open call opened on 3 April and was originally scheduled to close on the 9th. However, submissions far exceeded expectations and the call closed early on the following day, 4 April. The response underlines the high level of interest in NFT art.
Announcing the Featured Works
The selected works will be revealed on 26 April, two weeks from now. Anticipation is building for which pieces will be chosen. We will continue to hold open calls on an ongoing basis, seeking out new NFT art talent.
Upcoming Open Calls
Following the great success of the first open call, a total of four calls are planned. The second open call is scheduled from 24 to 30 April, and artists are already excited about it. A physical exhibition at a Ginza gallery is also planned for October, giving audiences a rare opportunity to view the works in person. Further details about the exhibition will be announced in due course.
