Experience Spanish Cuisine at the Paella & Tapas Festival
This weekend, from 14 to 16 April, Hibiya Park hosts the Paella & Tapas Festival. Select Spanish restaurants from across Japan gather to offer authentic flavours — paella and tapas, of course, but also jamón ibérico, chorizo, and a wide variety of other Spanish dishes.
Paella originates in the Valencia region of Spain — a rice dish coloured yellow with saffron and topped with seafood, meat, and vegetables. Tapas are small-plate dishes enjoyed throughout Spain, with a rich variety of creative preparations on offer. For details of participating restaurants, please visit the official website.
Beer and Wine Are Back This Year!
Alcohol sales were restricted last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but restrictions have now eased, and beer and wine will be available this year. Sangria and cava — perfect accompaniments to Spanish food — will also be on offer. The venue will have infection prevention measures in place, and we ask that those enjoying drinks remain considerate of those around them.
Getting There: Hibiya Park Is Easy to Reach
Hibiya Park is very convenient to reach: approximately five minutes’ walk from Ginza Station or Yurakucho Station, and right outside Hibiya Station. Public transport makes getting there effortless.
Why not head to the Paella & Tapas Festival this weekend with family or friends, and savour the very best of Spanish cuisine?
