Call for Musicians: Showcase Your Talent at the Digital Arts and Creatives Festa Ginza

Hello everyone! We are now accepting applications from musicians interested in performing at the Digital Arts and Creatives Festa Ginza, taking place on the 7th and 8th of October at Kirarito Ginza in Tokyo. We invite you to showcase your musical talents on our special "Ginza Glass View Stage," set against the stunning backdrop of Chuo-dori Ave.


1. Open Piano / Open Stage Details

Location: Performances will be held on the specially designed "Ginza Glass View Stage" within the venue.

Eligibility: There are two categories: a "Super Kids" category for primary school students and a "General" category for those in junior high school or older.

Performance Opportunities: Pre-registration is required, but if there are available slots, you may perform multiple times.

Cost: There is no additional cost beyond the admission fee.



2.The Allure of the Ginza Glass View Stage

Facilities: The stage is equipped with a white grand piano from Yamaha and a mini-stage with a projector.

Location: The stage features a full glass backdrop facing Chuo-dori Ave., the heart of Ginza where landmarks like Wako, Mitsukoshi, Matsuya, and Ginza Six are located. During the event, Chuo-dori Ave. will be pedestrianised, creating an ideal performance environment.


3. Application Requirements and Process

(1)General Requirements

  • Pre-application and registration are required. This is not an open piano event where anyone can play spontaneously.

  • The application period runs from the 11th to the 24th of September, but may close early depending on the number of applicants.

  • Instruments allowed are primarily piano, string instruments, wind instruments, percussion, and vocal music for the General category. For instruments other than the piano, please bring your own. Electronic instruments are not allowed.

  • If you specify your preferred time slot when applying, we will reserve that time for you. Additional performances are possible if slots are available.

  • Both solo and ensemble performances of two or more people are welcome.

  • Please apply through the designated application form. We will respond within two working days.

(2)Super Kids Category

  • Open to primary school students who have won or been selected in national / international competitions.

  • Each performance should be no longer than 5 minutes.

(3)General Category

  • Open to those in junior high school or older who have either graduated from a music school or have won or been selected in national / international competitions.

  • Each performance should be no longer than 15 minutes.

4.Additional Information

  • There are no changing rooms or waiting rooms. Casual attire is recommended, but you are free to wear what you like.

  • A piano pedal extension is available.

  • Please note that your performance may be used for promotional purposes on our website, social media, and printed materials.

  • Photography and video recording are allowed, but please be considerate of others' privacy.
